In the off season the Terrace View Estate Home and the Terrace View Suite can be rented separately or together for 5000 sq ft. 5 star quality. This beautiful estate home requires daily upkeep and maintenance of the Koi pond, terraces and gardens. The owners of this beautiful home totally understand your need for enjoyment and total privacy and will ensure that that it is absolutely respected.
The Terrace View Estate Home is located 10 minutes north of Florence on the quiet northern shore of the Mercer Lake. Mercer Lake is one of over 27 lakes in the Florence area known for trophy fish. Bring your boats and water toys and have a fantastic time at Mercer Lake with your own dock. For those who love the sand, bring your quads and ATVs to the sand dunes just a couple minutes south of town. Visit Old Town Florence and explore the wonderful bistros, restaurants, galleries, and shops along Bay Street. Just a few minutes north along the coast and you’ll find fun in the sun and surf at the fabulous Heceta Beach and of course don’t forget to visit the world famous and most photographed Heceta Head Lighthouse as well as the Sea Lion Caves!
The parking area is a linear sloping driveway with room for 4 vehicles. The Terrace View Estate Home is on Rustic Lane which is on a well grated gravel road and winds through the gentle slopes of the coastal hills. Vehicles with long trailers may find this road difficult to navigate. There is a free boat launch located on the South side of Mercer Lake. Ask for details about where to park your boat trailer!!
The Terrace View Estate on Mercer Lake is 5000 sq ft of pure pleasure. With its vaulted ceilings, rare myrtlewood cabinetry, molding and accents, walls of picture windows, top-of-the-line appliances and amenities and a workout gym with sauna, this makes for one fabulous vacation home. The kitchen comes complete with all the amenities you’ll need to prepare gourmet meals as well as having myrtlewood custom cabinets, a double oven with convection on top and standard on bottom with a warming drawer, dishwasher and a compacter. The large myrtlewood custom dining island seats up to 12 people.
The comfortable living room has plenty of room to relax while enjoying your favorite movie on the large 60” flat screen projection TV with cable, DVD and VCR. On those chilly evenings perhaps fire up the pellet stove while watching the sunsets of purple and gold across the lake. The formal dining is located in the cedar room and seats 6-8
The master bedroom suite is quality through and through with a plush king bed, slate tile throughout, electric fireplace, deep French Jacuzzi jet tub, 32” plasma HDTV w/cable and DVD/VCR and a glass enclosed shower. Start your workout routine in style in the Terrace View Gym. Located on the upper floor with windows overlooking the lake and a balcony overlooking the living room and kitchen. This gym hosts a wide array of equipment such as a stationary bike, Bowflex, Gazelle – Low Impact Glider, Aerobic Rider, Bow Flex Exercise Ball, Sit-up bench, video and yoga tapes while exercising and a World Massage bed with built in infrared heat. Watch the 36” TV w/cable/DVD/VCR while working out and when you’re all done, relax in the 3 Person Armana Sunlight Sauna w/built in stereo and Solocarbon heating technology.
For those that are looking for a little extra privacy, the Terrace View Suite garden apartment, located on the ground floor comfortably sleeps 4 with a king sized bed in the master bedroom and 2 pullout sofa sleeper singles in the living room. Decorated with in the style and flair of Paris, this exquisite suite comes complete with its own kitchenette which includes a microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, sink and toaster as well as a fabulously decorated full bath with a glass walk-in shower and a deep French Jacuzzi jet tub. The Suite has its own living room with a comfy sofa, two conversion singles, a bistro style table and 2 chairs and a 36” plasma HDTV with cable, DVD/VCR. The French doors open up to a beautiful stone terrace overlooking the lake where you can enjoy your morning coffee as well as bath in the sun.
The upper level of the home has a large library full of books and golf memorabilia.
