Terrace View Estate
Wonderful family vacation spot, July 26, 2010
We had a wonderful time with our family at this beautiful lake view estate. The kids and adults alike had a wonderful time kayaking, paddle boating and just simply jumping off the dock into the refreshing lake. The house was terrific. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. It had plenty of rooms and beds for everyone to choose from. Our teenage girls staked out the room at the top of the house right away. It was a perfect hideaway for teenage girls. The family room on the main floor was wonderful for family gatherings. The main deck had lots of chairs for everyone to enjoy outdoor dinner and just lounging around talking in the great weather. Night time fires on the lower patio were our family's favorite time. Lots of laughing and story telling. The hike down to the lake was the only challenge we had for a couple of our older family members, but the kids made the trip several times during the day while the adults lounged on the patio and dock. Great place, great trip!

Thank you for a wonderful time at the Vista Point Lakehouse. We took full advantage of the kayaks and canoe and had a blast. We visited the dunes and rode on the buggies there. It was such a thrill.
Thanks again for coordinating with the owner on giving us the kayak/canoe access. If in the future we have need of a vacation home, we’ll be sure to contact you.

Vista Point Lakehouse: Thank you so much for opening your home up for our family. The house was great & very comfortable for all of us!! We enjoyed a sandrail ride in the dunes and family trips to the beach. We look forward to coming back!

9 of us stayed at Terrace View on Lake Mercer for the Thanksgiving week holiday and we had a wonderful time. The house is just spectacular and Nancy and Don, the owners, have thought of just about everything. It is furnished to the max and lacks for nothing. They are both gracious and generous.
I am sure one or more of us will return or certainly tell our friends of this special place. If you want lakeside living 10 minutes from the beach and great hikes, you will love Terrace View as much as we did.

I hesitate to let the secret out, but Terrace View Estates is an amazing value. This private 5k sq ft custom home sits 70 ft. directly above Mercer Lake. The furnishings are first class. There is aslo a workout area and Sauna.
The open plan kitchen and huge living area look directly out to the lake through a wall of glass. The two lovely outdoor deck/patios - overlook the lake as well. There is also a private boat dock, a canoe, 2 kayaks, and a paddleboat for your enjoyment. Or just fish off of the dock. The shelter of the lake also makes the temperature around 8 to 10 degrees than Florence, with only a slite breeze. I truly hate to leave. RC
